Janet Yang
Producer, President of Manifest Film Company

Ms. Yang was the producing partner of Oliver Stone for seven years after co-founding and serving as President of Mr. Stone’s production company, Ixtlan. Janet is widely credited as the producer responsible for "The Joy Luck Club." Her other notable producing credits include "High Crimes" (Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd), "The Zero Effect" (Ben Stiller, Bill Pullman), "The People vs. Larry Flint" (Woody Harrelson, Courtney Love) – two Academy Award nominations, and "Indictment: The McMartin Trial" for which she won a Golden Globe and Emmy for producing.

Janet has also been very passionate about promoting Chinese related projects. In fact, Janet began her career with Steven Spielberg's film "Empire of the Sun," for which she was responsible for negotiating and coordinating between the US production entity and Chinese parties.

In the mid 1980's, Ms.Yang was responsible for securing the first North American distribution rights for imported mainland Chinese films, and then subsequently brokered the first ever sale of US studio films to the mainland Chinese import market. In recent years, Janet has invested considerable time on relationships in China and throughout Asia.

Steve Cannon
Producer, President of Thinking Films, LLC

Mr. Cannon has had a long and successful career in business. He worked for more than ten years as an investment banker on Wall Street and in Silicon Valley honing his business and deal making skills. Throughout his career, Steve has helped dozens of companies realize their financial goals through the raising of capital and the pursuit of strategic alternatives. Mr. Cannon was also a co-founder of an Internet access company, Surfree.com, which was sold to PSI Net Inc in 2000.
